In Udmurtia, a 19-year-old resident was sentenced to 20 years in prison in a treason case.

In Udmurtia, a young man was convicted of treason. The regional prosecutor's office reported this to Lenta.ru.

He was found guilty under Articles 275 (“High Treason”) and 281.1 (“Promotion of Sabotage Activities”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

As the court found, in January 2025, a 19-year-old resident of the Perm region, on instructions from the Ukrainian special services, filmed a government building and then sent it to his curator using the Internet.

Also, between January and February 2025, he involved three Russians in committing sabotage and received a reward of 11 thousand rubles for his actions.

The court sentenced him to 20 years in a special regime colony and a fine of 350 thousand rubles.
