Genotypes of the missing Usoltsev family were not found on things in the taiga

KRASNOYARSK, September 28 - RIA Novosti. The genotypes of members of the Usoltsev family, who disappeared a year ago in the Krasnoyarsk taiga, were not found on any of the things found in the search area, RIA Novosti was told by the Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia.

“As part of the investigation, when searching for the family, about 40 square kilometers of terrain on the territory of Kuturchinsky Belogorye were examined. Molecular genetic, biological and computer-technical examinations were carried out. All things found in the forest area were thoroughly examined; according to the results of forensic examinations, no genotypes of members of the Usoltsev family were found,” the message says.

The Usoltsev family - Sergei, Irina and their five-year-old daughter - disappeared near the village of Kuturchin a year ago, on September 28, 2025: they went on a hike to Mount Buratinka and did not return. They also had a corgi dog with them.
