This came in a speech delivered by Putin during the second phase of the 23rd conference of the ruling United Russia party, which was held in Moscow today, Saturday, less than a month before the legislative elections in the country, which aims to approve a new popular program that will serve as an action plan for the party for the next five years.

Putin said: "I am confident that the upcoming elections will confirm the stability of the Russian state, the maturity of its political system, and its ability to withstand any external threats, blackmail and aggression."

He added that Russia will not deviate from the principles of popular sovereignty even in the most difficult circumstances, and will hold elections at all levels.

He stressed that the new Duma must be ready to resolutely defend the country's interests and serve the people.

Putin touched on the special military operation, noting that the more difficult the enemy’s situation on the front lines becomes, the more brutal his attacks become, adding that these brutal attacks reflect the essence of the anti-Russian Kiev regime.

Putin stressed his confidence that the soldiers participating in the special operation will not let their country down, as "all of Russia now stands with them."

Putin stressed that "the unity of all generations of Russian society, whether on the lines of contact or on the home front, as well as the strength and values ​​that we inherited from our ancestors is the source of our strength and confidence in the future," and said: "We are one people, and we will fight together for the banner, for our homeland, and we will defend its interests."

Putin stressed that Russia is a sovereign country that decides its own destiny, adding that he expects the United Russia party to make a significant contribution to achieving national development goals.

He said that despite all the difficulties, Russia continues its development path and launches huge projects to develop the economy, defense and public administration.

Putin stressed that the United Russia party's mission is to serve the people and the homeland, and that the party's duty is to do everything in its power to achieve victory in the special military operation.

The President wished the United Russia party all the best in the upcoming elections, noting that the party prepared its popular program in consultation with the people and based on their initiatives and proposals.
