The New Taipei District Prosecutor's Office investigated the case of artists involved in deserting soldiers. Today (20th), it prosecuted 15 people on suspicion of forging documents and other crimes under the "Obstruction of Military Service Crimes Ordinance" and the Criminal Law, and requested sentences ranging from 1 to 5 years in prison. Among them, the artist Prince (Qiu Shengyi) was accused of spending 300,000 yuan to avoid military service in false ways. The prosecutor asked for a prison sentence of 2 years and February.

In response to this, Prince's agency responded earlier: "Prince has deeply reflected on his past mistakes, respects the results of the judicial trial, and faces his due responsibilities. Thank you again for your concern."
