The Miaoli County Government's general budget for next year includes an annual revenue of 36.566 billion yuan and an annual expenditure of 36.266 billion yuan, an increase of 6.067 billion yuan from this year's statutory budget of 30.199 billion yuan, an increase of 20.09%, a record high; the County Government's Chief Accounting Office pointed out that the main budget is The demand for projects such as personnel, local construction, and social welfare, including the payment of gifts for the elderly, free rides for the elderly and disabled people and consumption by farmers' associations, and subsidies for the deductibles of the National Health Insurance premiums for the elderly, were increased by 676 million yuan. The Accounting and Accounting Office pointed out that the statutory budget for next year will increase compared with this year. The main reasons include an increase of 1.124 billion yuan in personnel expenses such as salary increases and promotions for public education personnel next year, increases in supervisory and professional bonuses, heavy police and fire hazard bonuses, and the difference in pensions due to re-examination of annual changes for retirees, as well as an increase in maternity allowances of 23 million yuan.

In addition, the distribution of gift money for the elderly, free rides and consumption by farmers' associations for the elderly and the disabled, and subsidies for the deductibles of the National Health Insurance premiums for the elderly increased by 676 million yuan; nutritious lunches for schoolchildren increased by 245 million yuan; long-term care plan 3.0 increased by 475 million yuan; and living allowances for the disabled and living allowances for children and teenagers increased by 266 million yuan.

In terms of public construction, projects such as Tuniu Creek bank protection and flood control roads, river dredging and earth and stone supply operations and reservoir dredging, Mingde Reservoir bicycle and lake-circuit trails, rainwater and sewage sewers and other projects will be added next year by 184 million yuan; A total of 351 million yuan was spent on the widening project of Line B of County Road 124 in Nanzhuang Township, the construction of four new roads in the West Lake Creek embankment, the protection and improvement of the viaduct foundation in the Aishan section of County Road 140, and the acquisition of private land for use as public roads.
