Gyeongbuk Province announces 1,698 final successful applicants for the 1st local civil servant open competitive appointment test in 2026

(Andong = Yonhap News) Reporter Seunghyeong Lee = Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 23rd that it announced on its website the list of 1,698 final successful applicants for the '2026 1st Gyeongsangbuk-do Local Civil Service Open Competitive Appointment Test'.

The youngest successful candidate was an 18-year-old male (born in 2008) who took the Yeongju City Administrative Level 9 exam, and the oldest successful candidate was a 58-year-old female (born in 1968) who took the Pohang City Social Welfare Level 9 exam.

The average age of the final successful applicants is 30 years old.

By age group, 970 people (57.1%) were 20 to 29 years old, 569 people (33.5%) were 30 to 39 years old, 131 people (7.7%) were 40 to 49 years old, and 23 people (1.4%) were 50 years old or older. There are 5 successful applicants under the age of 20.

By gender, there were 946 women (55.7%) and 752 men (44.3%).

The final successful candidate will participate in the new appointment training course after completing registration as an appointment candidate. After completing the training, you will be assigned to an affiliated organization such as a province, city, or county, and will take your first step into public service.
