Cheonan Heungtaryeong Dance Festival 2026, held in the area of Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do for five days from October 1st to 5th.

Cheonan City and the Cheonan Cultural Foundation announced on the 23rd that they will operate specialized programs by genre using Cheonan Sports Complex, Sinbu-dong downtown, and Cheonan Samgeori Park as the main stages.

On the main stage of Cheonan Sports Complex, the international dance competition, in which 25 teams from 24 countries participate, and the finals and finals of the youth and general divisions of the national dance competition will be held.

At the indoor tennis court, the 'CIDC Breaking World Final', where representatives from 16 countries will face each other, and the 'Pump It Up World Championship', an international e-sports rhythm game competition, will be held, and on the night of the 3rd, the 'DANCEFLEX: EDM Fun Night' will be held on the main stage.

The 'Street Dance Parade', the main attraction of the 2-day festival, will be held in the Shinbu-dong area, located in the center of the city. At 7 p.m. on this day, domestic and foreign competition teams will hold a large-scale march along the 550m section from Bangjuk-an Intersection to Terminal Intersection.

Earlier, at 4 p.m., the CIDC Continental Competition will be held as a pre-event on the terminal intersection stage. At the site, a 2,000-seat grandstand will be installed for visitors, and vehicle traffic in that section will be controlled in stages for safety.

At Cheonan Samgeori Park, unique competitions and participatory stages will be held for 3 to 5 days. At the Sunken Square, the 'Street Dance Paldo Competition', a competition between youth dancers, and the 'CIDC 1on1 World Final', a 1-on-1 battle, will be held.

On the 4th, the 'Overseas Team Parade & Neungsojeon', a combination of Cheonan Seolhwa Madanggeuk and 23 foreign dance troupes, will be held in a 600m section of the park's ring road, and on the 5th, the finals of the 'National University Cheerleading Competition', which will feature a children's participation performance 'Momchi Escape Lab' and dynamic performances, will be held.

For the convenience of visitors during the festival, free shuttle buses on four routes connecting major subway stations, bus terminals, and the festival site will run in rotation.
