The "2026 Hakka Festival-Nantou·Guoxing Success" event will be held in Guoxing Township, Nantou County from October 30 to November 1. This year, in addition to the traditional "Successful Boat Pushing Competition", the 8th "Lai Haike Village" Hakka Pop Song Competition was also launched simultaneously. Online registration for the two events is open from now until 5 pm on September 30 (on a first-come-first-served basis). People from all over the country are welcome to form teams to participate and experience the Hakka culture.

The Guoxing Township Office stated that the "Successful Boat Pushing Competition" will be held at Minzu Street, Guoxing Township, and the competition will last for three days. The competition categories cover the national group, junior high school group, township group, government group group and social group (branch men's group, club women's group), testing the players' speed and teamwork. In addition to providing participation prizes, the competition also awards prizes for each group based on level, with the maximum prize reaching 50,000 yuan.

The "8th Lai Hakka Hakka Pop Song Competition" was held on November 1 at Chenggong Plaza in Guoxing Township, aiming to showcase the diverse creativity and vitality of Hakka Village through music. The competition is divided into youth group and social group. The social group has a maximum prize of NT$18,000, and the youth group has a maximum prize of NT$12,000.

During the three-day event, there will also be a Hakka market, Hakka traditional costume experience and silk printing DIY. The organizer has specially launched interesting comic-style posters in the hope of attracting the attention of young people.
