At the meeting, the list of the 4th Overseas Chinese Community Youth Development Conference was released, and the recruitment ceremony for the Overseas Chinese Community Youth Development Ambassador, the joining ceremony of well-known university alumni, and the awarding of the Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Community Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base were held.
The "Startup China" brand activity originated in Hangzhou in 2011 and was later promoted to all parts of the country with the support and guidance of the China Overseas Chinese Federation, becoming a widely influential overseas Chinese work brand. The theme of this conference is "Seven Ranks of Youth·Blue Relay", and participants will focus on exchanges and cooperation in new areas such as artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, and life and health.
It is reported that this conference attracted a total of 500 high-level talents, entrepreneurial elites, overseas Chinese businessmen and leaders, alumni of well-known universities, and representatives of overseas Chinese youth from more than 40 countries and regions at home and abroad. Among them, high-level overseas talents and youth from the overseas Chinese community accounted for 68% of the total participants. Feng Yi, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, pointed out that Zhejiang is vigorously promoting the construction of "Overseas Chinese Prospering Zhejiang", accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system, and making every effort to build a scientific and technological innovation highland, an advanced manufacturing base, and an artificial intelligence innovation and development highland.
