MOSCOW, September 26 - RIA Novosti. Arkhyz, Krasnaya Polyana and Kostroma have become the most popular vacation destinations for Russian tourists in the fall, the travel planning service OneTwoTrip told RIA Novosti.

“The top 3 locations for autumn outdoor recreation in 2026 are as follows: Arkhyz, Krasnaya Polyana, Kostroma,” the service found out after analyzing booking data.

The top five popular destinations also included Rostov-on-Don and Vyazma. It is noted that a year ago travelers did not show much interest in these cities.

Analysts have found that the average duration of a vacation this fall is 2.4 days, and the average cost of a night's stay is 10.7 thousand rubles.

According to the service, in 2026 the portrait of a country tourist has changed. "Although couples' vacation remains the most popular format, its share has decreased from 57% to 45%. The share of solo travelers has increased significantly - up to 23%," it added.
