2025年度国家最高科学技术奖获得者、中国工程院院士陈立泉说，86岁的他如今又有了新的理想：不远的将来，天上的飞行器是电的，海里的船舶是电的，空间站里宇航员呼出的二氧化碳也能发电……我把它叫做‘电动中国’。

陈立泉说，科学家的一项重要使命，就是要为国家十年、二十年乃至五十年后，布局未来。国家需要什么，我们就做什么。

中国科学院院士、中国科学技术大学校长常进在会上，用三件信物勉励莘莘学子：一枚重达515克、纯金打造的‘两弹一星’功勋奖章；一块粗糙的红砖；一组珍贵照片。常进动情地说，愿学生们像‘两弹一星’元勋那样胸怀家国，像烧砖前辈那样自立自强，和当代中国科大人一起勇攀高峰。
