The Dominican Republic was named the most expensive destination for a package holiday for Russians in 2026. The average cost of a tour there is 417.4 thousand rubles, duration is eight nights. This was reported by the tour aggregator Turvisor, whose research is available to Lenta.ru.

In second place were the Maldives with an average bill of 409 thousand rubles, in third place was Mexico, where a package tour costs an average of 393.5 thousand rubles.

The most affordable destination was Belarus - about 70 thousand rubles per tour. In Russia, the average cost of a vacation was 74.4 thousand rubles for six nights. The relatively inexpensive destinations also included Abkhazia and Armenia - 95.7 and 95.4 thousand rubles, respectively.

“The cost of a package tour differs depending on the destination and hotel category. In some popular destinations, the difference between budget and expensive options turns out to be very noticeable: for example, the average check for a tour in Turkish two- and five-star hotels differs more than three times - 80.8 thousand and 244.2 thousand rubles, respectively,” noted Turvisor General Director Ilya Yurtaev.

Turvisor noted that the package tour includes not only accommodation, but also flights and other services. Therefore, the most expensive options are traditionally in exotic destinations. The average bill for a five-star tour to Mauritius was 581.1 thousand rubles, to the Maldives - 571.2 thousand, to the Seychelles - 508.5 thousand rubles.

At the same time, exotic destinations remain niche. Five-star tours to the Maldives accounted for 1.5 percent of bookings, while Turkey accounted for 47.4 percent.
