2026 China Cycling Map Series·Chongqing Station was held at Hongchiba in Wuxi. Qin Yang won the championship of the men's mountain bike elite group.

China News Service, Chongqing, September 14th (Reporter Xiao Jiangchuan) On the 13th, the 2026 "China Cycling Map" Series Chongqing Station and the 13th Yangtze River Three Gorges Wuxi Hongchiba Cycling Race were held in the Wuxi Hongchiba Scenic Area in Chongqing. Hundreds of players from all over the country competed among the alpine grasslands and the sea of ​​flowers in the clouds at an altitude of 1,720 meters to 2,449 meters.

This event is sponsored by the Chinese Cycling Association, Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau, and Chongqing Wuxi County People's Government. It has two categories: mountain biking and road cycling. Each group is divided into men's elite group, men's master group, and women's open group. The total track is about 17 kilometers.

After the competition started, the contestants set off from the reception center of Hongchiba Scenic Area, walked through the alpine meadows and the sea of flowers in the clouds, and finally arrived at the finishing point of Wanxing City. The track has a minimum altitude of 1,720 meters and a maximum altitude of 2,449 meters. The first 9 kilometers are a gentle section, and the last 8 kilometers are a continuous climbing section. The cumulative climb height reaches 628 meters. It is currently one of the tracks with the highest altitude and the most difficult climbing in Chongqing cycling events.

After fierce competition, Qin Yang from the N_LAB mentech CRAFT team won the men's elite mountain bike championship, and Zhang Changxin from the Beilin Paisen Wheel Attack Team won the men's elite road bike championship.

Hongchiba Scenic Area is a national 4A tourist attraction and a national forest park, with a forest coverage rate of over 90%. This year is the fourth consecutive year that the Yangtze River Three Gorges Wuxi Hongchiba Cycling Race has been certified by the China Cycling Association and has been included in the official event system of the national-level "China Cycling Map" series for the first time.

The relevant person in charge of the event organizing committee said that in the future, they will continue to improve the event quality and track experience, and build the Yangtze Three Gorges Wuxi Hongchiba Cycling Race into a more influential national cycling brand event, injecting new momentum into promoting cycling for all and deepening the integration of sports and tourism.
