本届葡萄酒节将持续至9月29日，展区面积达1.25万平方米，7个特装展位、150个标准展位覆盖葡萄酒、文创包装、农特产品等全链条品类。天山北麓、焉耆盆地、伊犁河谷、吐哈盆地新疆四大葡萄酒核心子产区和阿克苏慕萨莱思特色产区集体亮相，千余款本土佳酿集中展出。

活动同步举办全国大学生葡萄与葡萄酒科学文化节和昌吉州美食文化旅游节。

中国酒业协会执行理事长王琦在开幕式上致辞称，本次葡萄酒节搭建起展示、交流、合作的平台，希望各位产区代表、酒企同仁借此机会充分交流、互学互鉴；也期待各位来宾，细细品鉴来自新疆各个产区的美酒，感受天山脚下独有的风土魅力，共同挖掘丝路葡萄酒文化的时代价值。
