At the opening ceremony, wonderful programs such as "Tang Poems and Song Ci Crossing the Clouds", "Take the High-Speed Rail to See Youthful China", "I Saw My Motherland in a Pomegranate", "Singing in the Tianshan Mountains" were performed in turn, vividly demonstrating the unique charm of classical poetry and modern poetry.

It shoulders the important task of enlightening the mind, cultivating sentiments, cultivating social civilization and fashion, and strengthening the people's spiritual strength." Chen Erhou, member of the Party Leadership Group and Secretary of the Secretariat of the Chinese Writers Association, said in his speech.

At present, the territory of Zhejiang poetry education continues to expand, and a vivid picture of "contemporary poetry education looking at Zhejiang" is being painted. Chen Erhou believes that to promote the work of poetry education in the new era, we must firmly grasp the requirements of the times of "creative transformation and innovative development": we must not only trace the roots and protect the "gentle and honest" spiritual foundation of poetry education, but also be based on the present and use classic poetry to fully nourish the spiritual hearts of new people of the era.

In order to further strengthen the power of poetry education promotion, an appointment ceremony was held at the event. Nine writers, poets and poetry education workers from all over the country, including Shi Libin, Hu Lemin, Wang Xinyi, and Kong Lingli, came on stage and were awarded the appointment letters of the second China Poetry Education Promotion Ambassador. In the future, they will carry out poetry education activities nationwide to help the inheritance and promotion of Chinese culture.

Quzhou is located on the edge of the four provinces of Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian and Jiangxi. It is known as the "Southeast Queli and the Southern Confucius Holy Land".
