The governor of the Yaroslavl region announced the completion of the repair of the Yaroslavl - Lyubim road in 2027

YAROSLAVL, September 25 – RIA Novosti. Repair of the 40-kilometer section of the Yaroslavl - Lyubim road will be completed in 2027, said the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region, Mikhail Evraev.

“We are putting the road from Yaroslavl to Lyubim in order. On the final sections with a total length of 40.6 kilometers, road workers have already completed more than 50% of the work. Since 2020, more than 50 kilometers have already been put in order. After the completion of the current stage, in 2027, the entire 100-kilometer route will become modern and safe,” the press service of the regional government quotes Evraev as saying.

The governor noted that the work is being carried out within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life,” initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to Evraev, roads in other important areas are being put in order at the same time. Road repairs are underway from Danilov to Sereda, from Semibratov through Tatishchev Pogost to Khaldeevo, from Rybinsk to Bolshoye Selo and from Ignatov to Shebunino.

“We are completing work on the section from Borisoglebsky to Zachatye. In total, this year, under the national project in the Yaroslavl region, we will repair more than 130 kilometers of roads to make travel comfortable for residents and guests of the region,” said the head of the region.

According to the Deputy Chairman of the Government - Minister of Roads and Transport of the Yaroslavl Region Roman Dushko, whose words are quoted by the press service of the regional government, the Yaroslavl - Lyubim road connects the regional center with settlements of four municipal districts and is of great importance not only for local residents, but also for tourists.
