Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov presented a forecast of the country's socio-economic development for 2027 and for the planning period of 2028 and 2029.

According to Reshetnikov, Russia's economic policy needs to focus on increasing the flexibility and sustainability of the economy, as well as restarting the investment cycle.

Russia’s economic policy needs to be focused on increasing the flexibility and sustainability of the economy and restarting the investment cycle, said Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, presenting at a government meeting the forecast for the country’s socio-economic development for 2027 and for the planning period of 2028 and 2029.

According to him, the forecast developed by the ministry is moderately conservative: the external price environment may turn out to be better than expected, while a number of risks remain.
