The Amur-LNG rocket will receive fuel - liquefied natural gas - of high purity, Deputy Head of Gazprom Vitaly Markelov said at the TNF International Industrial and Energy Forum. TASS reports this.

The manager noted that for the rocket, the Amur Gas Processing Plant will begin producing helium of the highest purity class in the world - 99.9999, which has no analogues in the world. “Today, we are also working with Roscosmos to produce LNG of the same high purity to fuel the Amur methane rocket, which should be created before 2030,” Markelov said.

In May, Interfax drew attention to the stand of the Roscosmos state corporation, presented at the International Security Forum in the Moscow region, according to which flight tests of the Russian reusable Amur-LNG rocket will start in 2031.
