Saemangeum Development Corporation, Saemangeum Waterside City Public Sewage Treatment Facility Construction Bidding Notice

(Gunsan = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Jin-bang = Saemangeum Development Corporation announced a bid on the 29th for the construction of a public sewage treatment facility for stable sewage treatment in Saemangeum waterside city.

Public sewage treatment facilities are essential infrastructure for safely discharging sewage generated in waterside cities into the Saemangeum sea.

This construction will build a new public sewage treatment facility with a capacity of 19,000 ㎥ per day within the waterside city sewage treatment facility site (Zone 4), and also establish a facility capable of supplying more than 5,300 ㎥ of reused water per day.

Bidding will be conducted through a design/construction turn-key method.

The project scale is KRW 105.4 billion, and the construction period is a total of 37 months, including 6 months of commissioning.

In order to induce high-quality construction centered on technology, the construction company plans to select candidates qualified for detailed design by adding 70% of the technology score and 30% of the price score using the 'weighted method'.

Interested companies can prepare and submit basic designs and bids for about 5 months after going through a preliminary screening (PQ) according to the bid notice.
