The Irkutsk Aviation Plant will begin production of 36 MS-21 aircraft per year after 2032 and the completion of the delivery of 90 aircraft to Aeroflot, said Andrey Soynov, general director of the branch of Yakovlev PJSC - the Irkutsk Aviation Plant (part of the UAC Rostec State Corporation).
“We have signed a contract with Aeroflot for the supply of the next 90 aircraft, we are now putting them into production... The first year - 14 aircraft, this will be 2029, then 18, 24 and 34 with a further increase to 36 per year,” Soynov told reporters.
