A man detained for attacking a courier girl in Moscow said he doesn’t remember anything. His justifications were captured on video, which was provided to Lenta.ru by the capital department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In the footage, the man answers the police’s questions: “Do you understand why you were detained?”, to which he says that he does not know and does not remember what he did at night. They take his fingerprints and take him to a cell.

The police received a report of violence against a girl on Yaroslavskoye Highway in Moscow. A police patrol unit that arrived on call found a victim at the scene who was in a state of shock.

Eyewitnesses spoke about women's screams at night; they ran out into the street and noticed an unknown person who quickly ran away. The girl was hospitalized.

The police found the rapist while patrolling the area in less than an hour; he turned out to be a 23-year-old visitor. He attacked a 21-year-old courier girl who was delivering a delivery between houses on Yaroslavskoye Highway at night, beat and abused her.
