Fatal accident in Zheleznogorsk: a pedestrian and a driver died, a child in the hospital

KRASNOYARSK, September 29 - RIA Novosti. A male pedestrian and a car driver were killed, a car passenger and a seven-year-old girl crossing the road were hospitalized as a result of an accident at an unregulated pedestrian crossing in the city of Zheznogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, reports the regional headquarters of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to preliminary information, on Tuesday morning, a 47-year-old Honda driver hit a man born in 1963 and his two young children who were crossing an unregulated pedestrian crossing. After that, he lost control and crashed into a tree.

“As a result of the accident, a pedestrian died on the spot, a 7-year-old girl was taken to a medical facility in serious condition, a 2-year-old boy was not injured. There were two people in the Honda car: the driver died, a 40-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital with injuries,” the report says.
