25 people rescued from a ship on fire off Kamchatka, four missing

Twenty-five people rescued from the Triumph ship that caught fire off the coast of Kamchatka were taken to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Four crew members of the Triumph ship are missing, and the search for them continues.

MOSCOW, September 26 - RIA Novosti. Twenty-five people rescued from the Triumph ship, which caught fire off the coast of Kamchatka, were taken to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, reports the Russian Emergency Situations Directorate for the Kamchatka Territory.

Earlier it was reported that a fire on the Triumph ship occurred off the coast of Kamchatka, twenty-five crew members were evacuated by the passing ship Perseus, four were missing, their search continues.

"Persea" arrived at the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Rescuers from the search and rescue teams of the main directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the State Public Institution "TsOD" on the vessel of the Marine Rescue Service "Pechak" organized the transportation of the victims to the shore. The first flight delivered sailors with serious injuries,” the department said in a message on the channel on the Max platform.

It is noted that rescuers, together with doctors from the Territorial Center for Disaster Medicine, using stretchers, carefully transferred the wounded from one ship to another. In addition, a psychologist from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations works on board the evacuation vessel.
