The Mid-Autumn Festival Gala "We Are Across the World" was staged at the Chinese Cultural Center in Berlin on the evening of the 25th. Nearly 200 people including guests from the German government, cultural institutions, art schools, museums, economy and media, as well as representatives from cultural institutions in Germany from many countries attended the event.

Zeng Fanhua, Charge d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Germany, said that the Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes reunion and harmony. "Together we are together across the world" not only embodies the Chinese culture's sentiment of "one family across the world", but also conforms to the spirit of the times of "harmony and symbiosis" for a community with a shared future for mankind. At present, exchanges and cooperation between China and Germany continue to deepen in various fields, and ties in culture, economy, trade, education, science and technology and other fields are becoming increasingly closer. It is hoped that people from all walks of life will continue to strengthen communication and enhance understanding, promote people-to-people bonds through cultural exchanges, and contribute to deepening China-Germany friendship, promoting the development of relations between the two countries, and jointly responding to global challenges.

Gao Qing, a second-level inspector of the Hubei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, said that Hubei and Germany have deep ties and have long maintained close exchanges and cooperation in culture, tourism and other fields. She invited German friends to Hubei to appreciate the natural and cultural scenery such as the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, Wudang Mountains, and Shennongjia, and to feel the charm of Jingchu culture.

That night, artists from the Hubei Provincial People's Art Museum and other units presented a Mid-Autumn Festival performance with Jingchu characteristics to Chinese and German audiences in the form of singing and dancing, instrumental music, opera, folk art, recitation and other forms. The party kicked off with the dance "Feng Ming Chu Tian", followed by the saw piano solo "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon", the Chu Opera "Going to the Party·Grooming", the solo dance "Mo Yun", the allegro book "Humorous Paragraph", the recitation "May People Live Long" and other programs took turns. At the end of the performance, all the actors sang "Ode to Joy", bringing the atmosphere to a climax.

This party is one of the 2026 "World's End Together" Mid-Autumn Festival series activities of the Chinese Cultural Center in Berlin. On September 26, the center will also jointly organize a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration with Berlin World Park. (over)
