The Legislative Yuan will exercise its power to approve personnel for the 7th Supervisory Yuan today (29th). All 27 people including Chen Yongxing, the nominee for the Supervisory Yuan, did not receive consent. Chen Yongxing said in this regard that he clearly proposed the direction of reforming the Supervisory Yuan, but now the Legislative Yuan "has blocked the opportunity to reform the Supervisory Yuan with irrational established prejudices and excuses." He believes that all Chinese people have their own public evaluation and judgment, and also believes that all Chinese people should work harder to demand comprehensive reform of Congress.

Chen Yongxing said that many of his discussions and opinions have been published in newspapers and magazines, and his responses to the Legislative Yuan have also been widely reported. He believes that since the Supervisory Yuan cannot be abolished at present, how to enhance the function of supervisory power and implement human rights protection is the focus of the Supervisory Yuan reform.
Chen Yongxing also said that such a result was expected. When President Lai Qingde wanted to nominate him as the Supervisory Director, he told him that it might be difficult for him to be approved by the Legislative Yuan, because it is not new for the Legislative Yuan to boycott the president's personnel nomination case. He pointed out, "In order to paralyze government departments or constitutional institutions and impede the normal functioning of the country, this is an irrational approach by the Blue and White camp, which holds the majority in the Legislative Yuan. It is also another proof that all Chinese people are disappointed with the Legislative Yuan."
Chen Yongxing said that he wanted to thank God, who gave him peace and joy; he was still grateful to President Lai Qingde for his nomination to exercise his powers in accordance with the constitution, and he was also grateful to many friends and media public opinion for their concern.
Chen Yongxing mentioned that he is a Christian of God's mercy. "Doing justice, loving mercy, and being humble" was his prayer when he was nominated.
