The Russian Embassy in Nepal is also involved in the search, with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Local authorities and relatives are considering different options for where Tretyakov could have been at the time of the disaster.

Relatives of musician from Yakutia Kirill Tretyakov, who disappeared after a flood in Nepal, are on the spot, with the participation of the authorities, working on various options for where the man could have been at the time of the disaster, Gavril Kirillin, head of the Ministry of External Relations and Peoples' Affairs of Yakutia, told RIA Novosti.

Earlier, a friend of the founder of the House of Music school, guitarist and rock musician Tretyakov, Alexander Lukin, told RIA Novosti that he disappeared after a flood in Nepal. Kirillin told RIA Novosti that the Russian Embassy in Nepal is also involved in the search; relatives of musician Tretyakov also arrived in this country.

“They are now continuing searches on the spot with the participation of local authorities, with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and are considering different options. Now it is becoming clear where he was at the time of the disaster,” the source said.

Kirillin noted that they are also working on the place where, according to eyewitnesses, Tretyakov could have been seen before the flood. But a search is also underway for other possible places where the man could have been.

“Other options are also being considered. Accordingly, if necessary, search work will also be carried out in other places where he may have been. Now they must restore the picture where Tretyakov was before the disaster, and they will work on it,” Kirillin said, noting that the republican ministry is in touch with the relatives of the missing man.
