工務局衛工處處長黃群表示,迪化污水處理廠作為全國最大的二級公共污水處理廠,每日處理大台北地區約50萬噸生活污水,運用半地下化的設計,頂部打造成萬坪休閒運動公園,翻轉鄰避設施印象,成為市民舒展筋骨與放鬆的城市綠洲。

迪化廠廠長周書瑋說,今年以「伴月迎中秋」的概念,將園區中央走道打造成夢幻月光場景,利用大型發光月球搭配造型玉兔燈飾,營造生動的「玉兔伴月」意境;走在步道間,還能欣賞點綴於植栽間的繽紛燈光。
周書瑋補充說,公園位於大同區延平北路4段200號,鄰近捷運圓山站,市民朋友可散步、騎乘YouBike 或搭乘公車輕鬆抵達。若自行開車,延平北路四段及酒泉街交叉路口附近,公園設有24小時汽車收費停車場及免費機車停車格,亦可停放於啟聰學校地下收費停車場,再由延平北路陸橋步行直通公園。
