During the elections to the State Duma of the ninth convocation in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, voting using satellite communication was tested for the first time.

MOSCOW, September 28 - RIA Novosti. For the first time in the elections in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, voting using satellite communication was tested, said the head of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, Ella Pamfilova.

Elections to the State Duma of the ninth convocation were held in Russia from September 18 to 20. Representatives of five political parties were elected to the new convocation: United Russia, Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, New People and A Just Russia, as well as a representative of the Rodina party and four self-nominated candidates.
