Mikhail Mishustin announced the rapid pace of technological independence in Russia

The level of technological independence in Russia is increasing at an accelerated pace, including in aviation and in the fuel and energy complex. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated this at the strategic session “Technological Policy,” RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, a total of nine national projects are aimed at strengthening Russia’s sovereignty in key areas, and all of them are being implemented successfully. “Industrial potential is actively growing. The projects are being implemented,” the head of government emphasized.

He pointed out that the country has created or modernized production facilities at more than 80 enterprises involved in fulfilling the most critical orders.

As examples, he cited the development of a unique breeding combine for grain harvesting, the commissioning of a power unit of a nuclear power plant under construction in the Kursk region, as well as the first flights of Russian aircraft.
