The Zubr machine gun system can complement the ZAK-30 Citadel anti-aircraft artillery system when operating in a single air defense (air defense) circuit. Rostec spoke about the joint work of the products, reports the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.

It is noted that “Citadel” and “Zubr” are systems on a similar basis. They are capable of independently detecting, tracking and hitting targets. The operator only needs to make a decision to destroy the enemy drone.

The Zubr combat module carries four PKT machine guns of 7.62 mm caliber, and the main armament of the Citadel was the 2A42 automatic cannon of 30 mm caliber. The ZAK-30 gun can fire shells with a remote fuse.
