MOSCOW, September 16 - RIA Novosti. The new health care program “Moscow Checkup” helped attract more than 300 thousand residents of the capital to preventive health care, who over the past two years have not undergone examinations in city clinics, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova told reporters.

She noted that the “Moscow Checkup” includes an expanded package of examinations for the capital and is selected personally. When the first step can be taken from home, it is easier to include self-care even in a busy schedule, the deputy mayor added.

“In just a few months, we managed to attract more than 300 thousand Muscovites to prevention, who over the past two years have not undergone preventive examinations or did not go to our clinics at all,” Rakova said.

According to the deputy mayor, in total more than 1.5 million Muscovites have already joined the Moscow Checkup program, 700 thousand of them have completed the first online stage. According to its results, the risk of developing heart pathologies was identified in almost half of the participants, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract - in 40%, diabetes - in 30%. To clarify these risks, more than 3 million laboratory and instrumental studies have been prescribed.

"Moscow Checkup" is a health care program that combines clinical examination, the federal program for healthy longevity and an expanded Moscow package of examinations into a single personalized prevention route.

The checkup begins remotely: in the EMIAS.INFO mobile application, the user fills out a questionnaire about well-being and lifestyle, and also enters the results of functional tests, data on body composition from smart scales or bioimpedance measurement devices at accessible city locations.

As a result, participants receive personal recommendations, and if deviations are identified, a referral for additional consultation and in-depth diagnostics.
