MOSCOW, August 31 - RIA Novosti. Attackers use phrases containing threats, blackmail, pressure and flattery to force teenagers to commit crimes, reports the Exit 31 portal.

A special project “Exit 31” has been launched in Russia to help teenagers who are forced to commit crimes through threats and psychological pressure.

“If they scare you, rush you, force you into silence, or offer to do something secretly, this is not a quest or a part-time job. At this moment, the only way out is to stop and ask for help,” the website says.

It is noted that attackers use threats and blackmail to force the victim to commit a crime. For example, they can use the phrases “We saved the evidence. If you turn us in, you’ll go to jail yourself,” “We know where you and your family live,” “You will do what I say, or these photos will go to school, to your parents, to the police. Your reputation is destroyed.”

In addition, criminals always rush the victim: “If you don’t get in touch, it will only get worse,” “You need to decide right now. Then it will be too late,” “You only have a few minutes. Don’t let us down.”

Attackers also manipulate the teenager’s feelings of guilt, for example, they can say that they trusted him, but he lets them down and betrays them, or threaten to tell everything to his mother, who will then “be ashamed,” and also claim that “real men follow through with things.”
