Veterans can submit an application for a form to receive a set of social services within three months after dismissal from service or from the date of determination of disability.

The application can be submitted through the electronic service at Gosuslugi or in person at the customer service of the regional branch of the Social Fund or the local MFC.

Combat veterans have the right to receive a free set of social services, which, for example, includes medicines and medical products, medical nutrition products for disabled children, a trip to a sanatorium, and free travel, Ekaterina Stenyakina (ER), a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, told RIA Novosti.

“First of all, these are medicines and medical products, medical nutrition products for disabled children. The set also includes a voucher to a sanatorium, free travel to the place of treatment, free travel on commuter trains,” the deputy explained.

Combat veterans, Stenyakina added, from mid-summer received the right to apply for a form to receive a set of social services within three months after dismissal from service or from the date of determination of disability received within twelve months from the date of dismissal.

As Stenyakina emphasized, if you submit an application to the Social Fund during the specified period, the set of services will be assigned not from next year, as happened before, but from the next calendar month.

“If a veteran submitted an application in August of this year, he will be able to count on a preferential list of measures starting in September. It is important to fill out the application correctly - indicate the status of a combat veteran and the fact of dismissal from military service, and also observe the three-month deadline for applying,” the parliamentarian noted.
