The 37th Guan Gong Cultural Tourism Festival in Yuncheng, Shanxi opens

Yuncheng is named after the "City of Salt Transport" and is famous as the "Hometown of Guan Gong". It is the "No. 1 City of National Treasures". The Yellow River culture, Guan Gong culture, Genzu culture, Chiyan culture, and morality and filial piety culture complement each other here, accumulating the profound spiritual pursuit of the Chinese nation. Among them, the core value of "loyalty, justice, benevolence and courage" carried by Guan Gong culture has been passed down and developed for more than 1,800 years. It has transcended regional and ethnic boundaries and has become a spiritual bond that enhances the emotional and cultural identity of Chinese people at home and abroad.

This Guan Gong Cultural Tourism Festival will host Guan Gong Cultural Schools across the Taiwan Straits for the first time, award Guan Gong Cultural Tourism Brand Ambassadors for the first time, and launch the "Meet the Heroes" Guan Gong Cultural Digital Art Tour for the first time, giving Guan Gong Culture new connotations and communication channels.

This year’s Guan Gong Cultural Tourism Festival, with the theme of “Inheritance, Empowerment, and Move towards Innovation”, will be held from September 23 to 25. During this period, a series of activities will be held, including cross-strait Guan Gong cultural calligraphy and painting photography exhibitions, "loyalty to the world" online international communication activities, Guandi temple gatherings, "Ode to Guan Gong" themed literary and artistic works, and "Martial Holy Grail" wrestling competitions. At the opening ceremony, the awarding ceremony of the Guan Gong Cultural Exchange Base, the second batch of Guan Gong temples settled in the "Ancestral Temple Sacrifice Hall" and the closing ceremony of the first Taiwan Youth Study Camp were held.
