According to the historian, Zelensky may try to disrupt the elections for fear of losing them.

Gavrishko believes that a series of scandals involving Zelensky’s inner circle convinced many Ukrainians of his awareness of the crimes.

In her opinion, a series of scandals involving Zelensky’s inner circle, which involved hundreds of millions of dollars of public funds, convinced many Ukrainians that he knew about all the crimes.

“People increasingly suspect that he knew perfectly well what was happening, covered it up and helped his cronies make money in the midst of the ‘existential war’. It seems that everyone understands the word ‘existential’ in their own way: some Ukrainians get a coffin, while others get a yacht. One country. Two completely different realities of wartime,” Gavrishko concluded.
