The festival "Tavrida.ART" became the basis of the cultural program of the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg

The festival of young art "Tavrida.ART", due to its diversity and beauty, has become the basis of the cultural program of the International Youth Festival, according to a release from the IMF press service.

“Everything that distinguishes Tavrida.ART - diversity and multiculturalism, the interaction of academic and contemporary art, colorfulness and variety of formats - was appreciated by the participants of the International Youth Festival from 191 countries,” the release says.

It is clarified that Tavrida brought its best formats from Crimea to Yekaterinburg, which formed the basis of the cultural program of the festival.

“More than 190 nationalities live in our country. Each nation has its own traditions, which form a large canvas of Russian culture. We are ready to share this experience,” said Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Sergei Pershin.

According to him, this year academic art, for which Russia is traditionally famous throughout the world, has become an important part of a large youth event.

“We also wanted to make the program international, so we made sure that we had international-level artists perform,” Pershin said.

In addition, through the efforts of "Tavrida.ART" the festival provided an opportunity to jointly experience art that brings people together.

“Our cluster is a unique project that exists only in Russia. We have received many requests for participation from foreign youth. It’s great that now such an opportunity has appeared here in Yekaterinburg. And this is an opportunity not only to show Russian art, but also to carry out creative collaborations with foreign artists,” noted Ksenia Artemyeva, General Director of the ANO Tavrida.ART, Deputy General Director - Program Director of IMF-2026.

Also, a special anthem was written for the 2026 festival. Its author was the singer Only Nastya, who dreamed about it since 2024.

“The theme of my anthem was the word hello - sometimes just saying “hello” is enough for a lot to change. In my song, greetings are heard in six languages. I wanted to convey a special atmosphere of celebration, hospitality and openness,” said the singer.
