Talking about the development opportunities that the platform economy and digital economy introduced by foreign food delivery platforms can bring to Taiwan's industry, Zhuang Mingchi said that first of all, at the level of the combination of the food delivery industry with the digital economy, digital transformation and AI (artificial intelligence), food delivery is often affected by weather, traffic, time of day , human flow and other factors, AI tools can transform "post-event distribution" into "pre-event prediction" to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The function of the food delivery industry is not only order distribution, but also covers economic behaviors such as digital marketing, consumption analysis, order management, and logistics scheduling. In the past, the logistics time for many consumer activities took about 24 to 36 hours, but through the introduction of AI, it is possible to shorten the time to 30 minutes.
Zhuang Mingchi said that there is a lot of room for imagination in the application of AI in the future service industry and the food delivery industry. In the development process, we will discuss whether such a service type will be implemented in Taiwan. The platform must be integrated with the enterprise side. There are more than 1.75 million small and medium-sized enterprises in Taiwan. The challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises include AI introduction and digital barriers. Many traditional The traditional service industry is facing M-shaped challenges due to technical bottlenecks. Therefore, how to bring a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises and traditional service industries into such a service model requires many collaborative parts. Now the Ministry of Economic Affairs is promoting the regulations on the transformation and upgrading of small, medium and micro enterprises, hoping to enhance the energy of small, medium and micro enterprises through a budget of 100 billion yuan over eight years.
Zhuang Mingchi said that when it comes to how to activate the digital economy, the Ministry of Economic Affairs welcomes foreign businessmen to bring new digital technologies to Taiwan.
