According to the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the Candidate Recommendation Committee for the Commissioner of the Serious Water and Fisheries Service will hold a meeting at 2 p.m. on this day to select candidates for the Commissioner of the Heavy Water and Fisheries Service to recommend to the Minister of Public Administration and Security.

The committee recommends to the minister three or more candidates, including those recommended by the public, whom the Minister of Public Administration and Security determines to be suitable for nomination as the head of the Central Investigation Agency, with the approval of more than two-thirds of the registered members. Upon completion of this procedure, the committee is dissolved.

If the Minister of Public Administration and Security respects the committee's decision and recommends one person as a candidate for the head of the Central Investigation Agency, the final appointment will be made by the President after a National Assembly personnel hearing.

The term of office of the Commissioner of the Heavy Water Administration is two years and cannot be reappointed. Only those who have been engaged in investigation or legal affairs for more than 15 years can be recommended, and there must be no grounds for disqualification, such as receiving a sentence of imprisonment or heavier punishment.

The public nomination of candidates for the head of the Central Investigation Agency took place from the 19th to the 26th of last month, but the Ministry of Public Administration and Security did not disclose how many candidates were recommended by the people.
