Feng Yixin/Guo Guanhong, ranked 24th in the world, competed in the top 8 of the men's doubles table tennis at the Asian Games in Nagoya today. They missed two game points in the crucial second game and eventually lost to the Chinese poetry combination Lin Shidong/Huang Youzheng, ranked 2nd in the world, 0:3. They missed the top 4 and the medal.

Feng Yixin/Guo Guanhong, who won the men's doubles championship at the London Star Challenge last year, although they did not play many matches this year, faced Lin Shidong/Huang Youzheng, who won two Grand Slam runner-ups in Singapore and the United States this year, still played competitively. Feng Guopei fell behind at 6:9 in the first game, and then resolved a game point to catch up to 9:10. Unfortunately, at the critical moment, Guo Guanhong hit a high ball backhand out of bounds and gave up at 9:11.

The situation in the second game was ups and downs. Feng Guopei overcame a 0:4 deficit at the beginning and chased 5 points to overtake the score.
