MOSCOW, September 25 - RIA Novosti. Investigators have opened criminal cases regarding the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Voronezh and a car with volunteers in the Zaporozhye region, official representative of the Russian Investigative Committee Svetlana Petrenko told RIA Novosti.

According to the department, in the Zaporozhye region, as a result of an AFU attack on a civilian vehicle, three volunteers from the Omsk region, delivering humanitarian aid, were killed; the total number of victims is being clarified.

“On this fact... a criminal case has been opened on the grounds of crimes under Articles 105, 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder, deliberate destruction of property),” Petrenko said.

In addition, on the night of September 25, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Voronezh. Private homes and civilian infrastructure were hit. According to preliminary data, 13 civilians, including a young child, were wounded and injured of varying severity.

“The crime was qualified by the investigation under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act),” Petrenko added.
