沈伯洋今受訪表示，不管是陸委會或是以前的聯審會，對於中國人要來到台灣，相關審查本就會有風險的考量，如果這個人本身負責對台工作，又無法保證其來台以後不會繼續做對台工作，那在審查的時候標準就可能因此希望換一個人。
