Former US Army lieutenant colonel warns of a severe defeat for Ukraine if it refuses Russia's conditions

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky’s refusal to accept Russian conditions could lead to a more severe defeat for Ukraine and further territorial losses. Retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis announced this on social network X.

“The longer we adhere to the delusion that these pro-Ukrainian conditions are possible, the <...> there will be more losses of territory, and our defeat will be even worse,” the publication says.

According to Davis, Ukraine, the United States and European countries do not have sufficient strength to force Moscow to accept the terms proposed by Kiev for ending the conflict. He noted that Kyiv will have to choose between concluding an unfavorable agreement now and more severe consequences in the future.
