At school No. 5 in Belogorsk, two new agricultural classes will be created for training personnel in the field of agriculture; more than 15 million rubles have been allocated for their creation.

In the Amur region, 12 agrotechnological classes have already been created this year, and in total, according to the presidential national project, they plan to open about 175 agrotechnological classes.

Agricultural class curricula include interaction with agricultural enterprises, including excursions and lectures.

BLAGOVESHCHENSK, September 22 – RIA Novosti. Personnel for the agricultural sector in the Amur region will be trained by two more new agricultural classes at school No. 5 in Belogorsk; more than 15 million rubles have been allocated for their creation, the government of the Amur region reported.

“Agricultural classes are a real, practical acquaintance with professions in demand in the region. Agriculture today is developing very intensively, new technologies are coming, space monitoring, drones, and modern equipment are being introduced,” said Vasily Orlov, Governor of the Amur Region.

The government of the Amur region clarified that more than 15 million rubles were allocated for the creation of agricultural classes, the funds were used for the renovation of two offices and recreation, as well as for the purchase of modern furniture and specialized equipment.

This year, 12 agricultural technology classes were created in schools in the region in the Tambov, Mikhailovsky, Seryshevsky, Belogorsk districts and the city of Belogorsk. In total, in the Amur Region, according to the presidential national project, about 175 agrotechnical classes are planned to be opened in the next three years.

Since the beginning of the school year, the school has built network interaction with DalGAU. High school students have already visited the AmurAgroForum in the village of Sadovoye, where they got acquainted with modern technologies of the agro-industrial complex.

“The largest oil extraction plant of the Sodrugestvo Group of Companies in the Far East was built in Belogorsk, and a number of other agricultural enterprises operate. They need qualified specialists, organizations are ready to offer good conditions to their employees,” Orlov said.

Deputy Chairman of the regional government - Minister of Agriculture Oleg Turkov said that the curriculum of agricultural classes includes interaction with agricultural enterprises, including excursions and lectures.

During the working trip, the governor also inspected the school cafe and information terminal. Schoolchildren and parents can use it to find out the menu, class schedule and information about events, as well as evaluate the quality of food.
