Israeli raids on southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa resulted in 5 deaths and 23 wounded

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the Israeli raids targeted the towns of Ramadi, Mifdoun, and Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon and the town of Ain al-Tineh in the western Bekaa in eastern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Health statement said: “In addition to the number of deaths, two people were killed in an Israeli raid that targeted a motorcycle in the Doha Kfar Rumman area, bringing the number of victims today to 5 dead and 23 wounded.”

Today, Saturday, various areas in southern Lebanon and the Western Bekaa witnessed a series of intense Israeli air strikes targeting homes and residential areas, resulting in casualties and injuries among civilians.

According to a previous preliminary toll of the bombing, it was documented that 4 people were killed and more than 10 others were injured. Human losses were distributed among several towns, with two people killed in Doha Kfar Rumman and Nabatieh El Fawqa, in addition to one wounded in Nabatieh El Fawqa.

In a related context, the raids targeted the town of “Al-Ramadiya” in the Tyre district, where the bombing targeted a house, resulting in more than 8 wounded, after which ambulances rushed to the place to evacuate the injured. Military aircraft also launched a raid on the town of “Mifdoun” in Nabatieh district, amid reports of casualties, as a number of victims are still trapped under the rubble and rescue teams continue their work to extract them.

The bombing wave also affected the town of “Al-Kafour” in the Nabatieh district, and the “Jabour” area in southern Lebanon. In the Western Bekaa, an Israeli raid targeted the town of Ain al-Tineh, wounding a Syrian worker.

Rescue teams are still working in the targeted areas to treat the wounded and extract those trapped, in light of the continuing military escalation.
