社會處長林文志表示，此次計畫將運用戶政單一生活戶等相關資料作為初步訪查來源，並由受訓完成訪查員進行實地訪視，確認長者居住及生活情形，透過生活關懷評估，瞭解長者在身體狀況、自我照顧、親友及鄰里互動及服務意願等面向的實際需求，並依評估結果提供後續服務。

林文志表示，此次訪查員培訓邀集全縣48個社區發展協會及相關民間單位共同參與，使第一線訪查員充分瞭解獨居老人認定原則、生活關懷表操作、訪談技巧、需求等級評估、後續服務連結及個人資料保護等重要事項，提升訪查品質及服務一致性。

林文志表示，透過此次擴大訪查及服務網絡建置，結合社區在地力量與民間服務量能，建立更綿密的獨居老人支持網絡，讓有需要的長者能被及早看見、及時關懷。
