(대전=연합뉴스) 변선진 기자 = 금강유역환경청은 2일 오후 6시를 기해 대청호 회남 수역의 조류경보를 '경계'에서 '관심' 단계로 하향 발령했다고 밝혔다.

이번 조치는 회남 수역의 유해남조류 세포 수가 '경계' 단계 발령 기준인 1mL(밀리리터)당 1만개를 2회 연속 밑돈 데 따른 것이다.

회남 수역의 유해남조류 세포 수는 지난달 29일 1mL당 6천908개, 이날 9천459개로 각각 집계됐다.

금강청은 비가 내리고 기온이 떨어지면서 유해남조류 성장에 필요한 일사량과 수온이 낮아져 녹조가 줄어든 것이라고 설명했다.

금강청은 경보 단계를 낮춘 뒤에도 심층 취수와 정수 처리 강화 등 먹는 물 안전 대책을 이어갈 방침이다.
