The Central Meteorological Administration issued a weather forecast: The northeast monsoon will affect the north and eastern half of Taoyuan, it will be cloudy with local showers.

The Central Meteorological Administration stated that under the influence of the northeast monsoon today (10th), the cloudiness in the north and eastern half of Taoyuan on the windward side will still be heavy with local brief showers. The area south of Taoyuan will be cloudy to sunny, and there will be local short showers in the mountainous areas south of Chiayi in the afternoon.

In terms of temperature, it will be cooler in the early morning tonight, with low temperatures in various places generally ranging from 22 to 25 degrees. During the day, the high temperature in the north and eastern half of Taoyuan is about 29 to 30 degrees, and in the south of Hsinchu, it is 31 to 32 degrees. The Meteorological Administration reminds that as autumn begins, the temperature difference between day and night is gradually increasing.

In terms of weather on the outlying islands, Penghu is sunny and cloudy at 26 to 29 degrees; Kinmen is sunny and cloudy at 25 to 30 degrees; Matsu is sunny and cloudy at 25 to 29 degrees.

In terms of air quality, the Yilan and Huadong Kongpin Districts are at the "good" level; the northern, Zhumiao Kongpin Districts, Matsu, Kinmen, and Penghu are at the "Ordinary" level; the central, Yunjianan, and Gaoping Kongpin Districts are at the "Orange Alert" level.

The Meteorological Administration predicts that tomorrow (11th) the influence of the northeast monsoon and the increase of moisture will cause short-term showers on the north coast and northeastern areas of Keelung, and local heavy rains. There will be local short-lived showers in the north, east and southeast of Taoyuan, and it will be cloudy in other areas. There will be local short-lived showers in the mountainous areas and Gaoping areas in the afternoon.

The northeast monsoon will weaken slightly on Saturday and next Sunday (12th and 13th). There will be local short-lived showers in the eastern half of the region, the north coast of Keelung, the greater Taipei mountainous area and the Hengchun Peninsula. It will be cloudy in other areas, with local short-lived showers in the afternoon.

Next Monday to Wednesday (14th to 16th), there will be localized short-lived showers in greater Taipei, the eastern half of the region and the Hengchun Peninsula. It will be cloudy in other areas, with localized short-lived showers in the afternoon.
