The Israeli army stated in its statement that, as part of the raids, its aircraft launched raids on warehouses of combat equipment that were scheduled to be used by Hezbollah members to plan and direct strikes targeting its forces in the security zone and the citizens of Israel. Adding that these raids were carried out to remove the threat.

He continued, "The raids were carried out in response to the Hezbollah terrorist organization's attempt yesterday to carry out an attack against the IDF forces operating in the security zone, where a march was launched towards the forces. There were no casualties among our forces."
