The Wuxiang County Public Security Bureau of Changzhi City busted an evil labor extortion criminal gang headed by Ge Moumou and arrested seven suspects.
After investigation, it was found that between 2021 and 2026, the gang used their hometown ties as a bond to specifically carry out extortion and extortion activities against coal mining companies. At present, all seven suspects have been arrested, and the case is under further investigation.

Abolish the gang involved in public opinion blackmail by Qin Mouguo and others

After investigation, from 2024 to 2026, the gang used means such as deliberately hyping social hot spots and fabricating negative information to threaten online exposure, and carried out extortion and forced transactions against many enterprises and institutions. It committed more than 20 crimes in total, involving more than 100,000 yuan, seriously disrupting the normal market operation order.

Abolish Sun and others' gangs involved in public opinion blackmail
The Public Security Bureau of Yangcheng County, Jincheng City, busted an inter-provincial public opinion blackmail criminal gang and arrested three suspects.
After investigation, from May to July 2026, the three criminal suspects Sun, Xu, and Liu Tao ganged up to Yangcheng County, specializing in collecting business operation loopholes, threatening to expose them online, and extorting a total of more than 37,000 yuan. In-depth digging revealed that since 2023, the gang has formed a mature black industry chain of "searching for target vulnerabilities - network exposure threats - accounting and dividing stolen goods", operating in 14 cities in 5 provinces across the country, and has committed more than 100 extortion crimes, with the amount involved reaching more than 700,000 yuan.

The Gaoping Municipal Public Security Bureau of Jincheng City busted a criminal gang running "Pengci" and arrested 8 suspects.
After investigation, since August 2025, 8 criminal suspects including Chen Moufang and Cao Mouchun have gathered together and formed a fixed pattern of "old injuries + creating accidents + hospital examinations + private claims", specifically selecting tricycle drivers as the targets of crimes, and traveled to more than 10 provinces including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, and Shanxi to carry out "touching porcelain" fraud, committing more than 100 crimes, and the amount involved amounted to more than 600,000 yuan.
At present, all eight suspects have been arrested and brought to justice, and the case is under further investigation.

The Public Security Bureau of Lingchuan County, Jincheng City, busted a gang involved in public opinion blackmail and arrested four suspects.
After investigation, it was found that the criminal gang headed by Zhao Mouqing has registered self-media accounts on online platforms since 2024, and has successively traveled to Changzhi, Jincheng, Jin and other places, photographed a large number of corporate and construction site images, maliciously edited and produced false short videos and posted them on the Internet to create so-called "negative public opinion." Subsequently, the gang threatened to continue to expose and expand its influence, and demanded "post deletion fees" from relevant companies to carry out extortion, with the amount involved reaching more than 300,000 yuan.
