The Federal Air Transport Agency helicopter did not find the missing fishermen near Kamchatka

A Federal Air Transport Agency helicopter that flew over the area 70 miles from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, where the Triumph fishing vessel was burning, did not find any of the four fishermen who disappeared during the fire. RIA Novosti reported this at the Marine Rescue Subcenter of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

As the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kamchatka Territory clarified, a fire on a fishing vessel with 29 crew members on board occurred on the evening of September 25 in the Pacific Ocean east of Cape Khodzhelaika.

25 people were evacuated, four more are listed as missing. “The helicopter flew over the area, the search did not bring any results,” notes the MSPC.
